Camellia Japonica - Live Plant - Quart Pot

The Lady Vansittart Variegated Camellia, a camellia japonica variety, produces unusual pink striped and spotted rose-pink semi-double flowers with wavy-edged petals. Blooming from February and continuing until April, these are very pretty flowers on a sturdy, evergreen shrub.

The glossy, oval foliage forms an upright, dense bush that can be pruned to shape, keeping in mind to cut after the flowers have fallen in late spring. To protect the buds and flowers, it is best to situate the plant out of cold winds.

This camellia variety reaches a mature height of 8-12 feet and a mature width of 6-8 feet. It thrives in shade to partial sun exposure and is hardy in USDA Zones 7-10.
